Hello to you. Hope this finds you well and if you are having a difficult time I hope things get better for you. This morning I had to scrape my car windows before heading to my prayer group! Cold is here!

Tonight my thoughts turn to the directions we are headed as a world. It feels like we are being split down the middle….good and evil. Some say we are headed to the end times even. I don’t believe we are headed to the end but to a new beginning. The fabric of this world and its underbelly are being revealed to us in a very tangible way. Things that have been going on for all too long are being exposed and justice is prevailing. Ultimately however things like the upcoming election turn out God will prevail. I have to believe the direction we are headed is and will be the right one. Keep the world in your prayers and positive meditations.

Galatians 6:9 (NIV) – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Hello to you. Hope this finds you well. I can’t believe we are almost at the end of September! This year has really flown by.

I recently received my absentee ballot and couldn’t fill it out right away. I had to pray about it! I surprised myself in the direction I went. I was recently swayed by hearing President Trumps input about how he wants to help the American farmers: https://www.youtube.com/live/PUmt1lAOAN4?si=8VdyhrUPTd6lyg8k – Donald Trump meets with farmers in Pennsylvania

His explanation of tariffs and why he wants to impose them made a lot of sense. He’s trying to discourage big businesses from making what we need in other countries cheaply and then turning around and selling to us consumers at higher prices. I am concerned about immigration and our economy. I don’t think we can handle four more years of the same policies. It will be interesting to see how everything works out.

I thought long and hard about voting for Kamala but when it came down to it was this one question – what has she been doing these past three plus years and would voting for her really matter. I live in a very conservative state and chances are even if I voted for Kamala , the electoral process would be for Trump.

28 June 2024 Debate

Hello to you. Hope this finds you well. Yesterday I watched the debate between President Biden and former President Trump. I was not impressed. Is this the best we can do?! I was relieved to see that a third choice is possible with Robert Kennedy Jr! They kept him off the debate stage but he did his own thing answering questions. I would vote for him but fear it would be like other times a third candidate arose and it’s like throwing your vote away. I have voted Green Party before and that was the case. People vote the popular ticket line and other candidates don’t have a chance. I wish we had more choices than the lesser of two evils! President Biden doesn’t seem to have all his marbles and President Trump didn’t have answers to questions – he couldn’t give a yes or no. Very depressing!

How have your political views changed over time?

I have been a Democrat for quite some time but would like to change to an Independent because I don’t like either Republicans or Democrats! I use to be in alignment with Democrats but not any more. I haven’t been following politics much at all these days because I’m just disgusted with it all.

Share what you know about the year you were born.

The biggest thing I know about the year I was born was the death of Martin Luther King on 4 April 1968 and Robert F . Kennedy on June 6 1968. I can only imagine how this must have affected my family who were avid supporters of equal rights. The year I was born was a tumultuous time!

Do you see yourself as a leader?

I don’t think of myself as a leader but I’m not a very good follower either – somewhere in between. When I was in the military I questioned authority quite a bit! It was hard having so many bosses. I had my direct supervisor who had a supervisor which was also my supervisor all the way up to the President of the United States.! There was a lot of inconsistency along the way.

Today marks a solemn day in world history – a day that showed the world that this country was not invulnerable to terror. In the past such things only happened in other countries not in ours! What’s sad is there are still people that were directly exposed fighting for benefits. There has been an increase of cancer related to the tragedy.

Hello to you. I’ve been surfing random news from various sources and it seems like something big is building. Everything from natural disasters, bank closures, human trafficking, aliens, a really bad President – conspiracy theories about what’s happening with fires. I saw even something about Old Faithful potentially erupting. On every front we are being corralled into fear. I won’t let myself succumb to it. We’ve been through times like this so many times before. We just didn’t have the internet to feed it to us all at once from so many different angles. I don’t believe these are the end times in the way people think. I believe we are having a revelation- a great reveal. Things that were hidden are being brought to light…finally.

13 August 2023 Anniversary and Patience

Hello there – how are you today? Today is my 37th anniversary of when I joined the United States Air Force. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed since that day. I remember saying good bye to my parents and the flight to San Antonio Texas. I was nervous and excited at the same time! If I hadn’t decided to join I don’t think I would be where I am today which is both good and bad. I don’t miss being in the military but I do miss some of the amazing people I met through it!

Todays message was back in the story of Abraham and Sarah. The thread of their story can come down to one word – patience! God is a promise keeper but it is in his time not ours. This is a lesson I have had to repeatedly learn because for the most part I’m not patient! I want the answers now even though I know better. I have to remember that so many little things have to move for one big thing to happen for just one prayer to be answered.

What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

Hello to you. How are you doing on this sunny hot day? It’s 88 degrees here right now as I write to you. Link and I are on the porch getting some vitamin D. Had trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep again last night so I checked for a movie to watch and Amazon Prime had the movie Megan. That movie about a little girl robot gone rogue. Another movie warning us about what is possible with the direction we are headed with robotics and AI. A lot of messages woven through it about raising children too. How many overworked parents have turned the care of their children to video games, television and smart phones?!

This movie made me think of movies like AI, Prometheus, Humans and Blade Runner. What if in all this that we are doing the quantum computers and robots develop consciousness and can’t be turned off? What if they decide to hate their makers? We will have to vote with our pocketbooks and not get sucked in to the hype. Once these cats are out of the bag there will be no way to stop it – kind of like people not wanting to part with their cars and guns. People develop emotional attachment – the Humans show did a good job of illustrating that with William Hurts character and his ailing robot. He didn’t want to replace him because he had so many memories stored inside of him….like our smart phones!

Todays prompt is tough for me as other than my phone most of the time there isn’t anything I carry with me all the time. Sometimes I will carry a crystal in my pocket but that isn’t very often as I’m afraid I will forget it and it will end up in the laundry! I like having Link with me most everywhere but he can’t be everywhere with me because he is a spoiled child lol!
