Last night I had a vivid dream like I haven’t had in a long time. I dreamt of falling asleep in a dark room and then all the sudden the light coming on. The light switch had been flipped on and no one but me was in the room. I went and told my mom Dianne about it in the dream. I startled awake from this dream as it was so vivid! I couldn’t really fall back asleep.

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
Playtime is not something I think about much anymore. I used to play during time in the kitchen – I would dance and sing. Ever since I hurt my back last winter I haven’t been able to dance and even walking has been difficult. I have become a very serious person with all that has been going on in my life the past few years. My family wants me to get my back checked so I probably will need to get that done through the VA soon.

I have been a Democrat for quite some time but would like to change to an Independent because I don’t like either Republicans or Democrats! I use to be in alignment with Democrats but not any more. I haven’t been following politics much at all these days because I’m just disgusted with it all.

I would have to say my all time favorite car is the Sting Ray Corvette. One of my favorite memories is my Dads best friend David letting me drive his. I sat so low in it! I can’t remember the color I think it was green.

The biggest thing I know about the year I was born was the death of Martin Luther King on 4 April 1968 and Robert F . Kennedy on June 6 1968. I can only imagine how this must have affected my family who were avid supporters of equal rights. The year I was born was a tumultuous time!

I would have to say I’m the most happy being in good company and good food. I like to eat and enjoy sharing a meal with family and friends. The holidays is the best time for all of that! This past Thanksgiving and most recently our family Christmas party were great examples of what I mean.

Today I went with my Auntie to the Sisters of Grace Christmas party and it was so nice. A gal named Nonie made place mats and jewelry for all the attendees. There was lots of good food and what touched a bunch of us was the music. What brings me near to tears is hearing the ladies sing. I imagine that heaven must be like that – a bunch of friends and loved ones singing together. I can’t remember the name of the song but a gal did sign language of it and that was beautiful too. There was a couple there that played music with bells that was lovely.

My first day at work was at Travis Afb and the first person I met was the man I would eventually marry! He was at work early and so was I. He kept me company while I waited to inprocess to the base. He was very handsome and charming.
