Hello to you. It’s been awhile since I’ve written. Just haven’t had much to write about out of the ordinary. I had a vivid dream the other day that I want to share. It was about Pope Francis visiting me at my home. In the dream I had a camera to take his photo but I was so lost in the moment I didn’t use the camera! I can remember being so excited I wanted to write my parents about it. I looked through a desk for stationary and when I found a couple blank sheets I woke up. Pretty cool dream!

We got more snow – I’m over it lol. Had a good dream with my Dad last night. It had to do with coin collecting which was one of his favorite things to do.
As far as snacks I would eat right now I like dipping bread or potato chips into sour cream. I love sour cream! Love a Daisy dollop! That’s the brand of sour cream I buy.

Last night I had a vivid dream like I haven’t had in a long time. I dreamt of falling asleep in a dark room and then all the sudden the light coming on. The light switch had been flipped on and no one but me was in the room. I went and told my mom Dianne about it in the dream. I startled awake from this dream as it was so vivid! I couldn’t really fall back asleep.

Just a couple days ago our family dog Spot, a rat terrier, passed away. She was about 14 years of age. Last night she came to me in a dream along with another dog I didn’t recognize. I was hoping she would visit me this way. She used to come to me in dreams while she was alive. Dreams make it possible for us to visit no matter what the living condition – dead or alive. I miss her and loved her so much. She was a great dog.

This morning I had a dream with my Aunt and my Dad in it. It’s the first dream I’ve had with my Dad since his passing. I was so happy to see him. From what I’ve learned from watching mediums like Matt Fraser, our loved ones reach us through dreams. I don’t remember specifically what the dream was about as it happened just for a few seconds before my alarm went off that I forgot I set. I hope there will be more dreams like that in the future. Love seeing my Dad healthy and strong!

Hello to you. Hope this finds you well. I wanted to share something that happened to me yesterday. I was scrolling and came across something that made me stop. There is a device someone invented to make music out of the energy signature of plants. It’s really cool. They clip the device to a plant or tree and the energy signature makes music. Well yesterday I stopped and listened and noticed the language on the pot looked like the stuff I saw in the dream I shared with you. I’m not sure what language it is – do you know? If you do please leave a comment!

Hello to you. How has your weekend been? I’m just back from church. We spent some time I psalm 139. The pervading message is God knows everything about us from beginning to end. Pastor Jayson talked a little bit about why so bad things happen and part of it is the sin that is in our world and part of it is what we do with our bad experiences after they happen. In many cases we are given the opportunity to help others who are going through or about to go through similar circumstances. Such has been the case for me. In my brokenness I have been made a stronger person in many ways and I know my boundaries better. I have a long resume of bad things I’ve been through! When most anyone going through a hard time, with the exception of parenting, approaches me I have empathy and some experience to share. Oh and praise God more rain today!
Changing gears:
The sacred space in the dream kind of looked like this only the space was surrounded by pitch black.
Before bed last night I asked God to show me the truth about him. I wanted and asked for a dream that I would remember. It’s been a long time since having a memorable dream. Well I fell asleep and dreamt I was looking at an altar like space in the dark. There were decorations and symbols made out of what looked like plastic. It almost looked like a wedding altar – everything was white and gold. It felt like a sacred space and I said that before walking in to it. I was self aware in the dream – almost like a lucid dream. When I walked into the space I got chills all over my body – the hairs stood up. Then I immediately felt this pulling sensation that frightened me – like an unseen force was touching me and I screamed “Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me! No!” I scared Link screaming myself awake. I guess I got scared because I was being touched by an unseen energy like some scary dreams I’ve had before. What was being shown to me? Was it something to be so afraid of? I will keep asking God for clarification and try not to be afraid!
Psalm 139 – the only bad part of this psalm is about hating those who hate God. I don’t hate anyone!

Todays prompt is kind of fun – we get to dream a bit. When I was active duty and stationed in Germany I loved how easy it was to travel from one country to another. One of my favorite memories was riding a train from Frankfurt Germany to Milan Italy. I didn’t get to Ireland, Norway, Switzerland or the crystal tours to Poland. I never got to Japan, Korea, Egypt or China. I have had friends who have been to those places and told me about their experiences but it’s not quite the same as going there yourself! Bottom line is there are a lot of cool places to visit but I doubt I will get there.
I have wanted to go to Ireland in person for a long time. I flew over it in my dreams once. I flew along the shore like a bird and into a little tiny house where a woman with long red hair was eating her hair – she had children. I found out later that with the potato famine in Ireland this actually happened!
Thank goodness for drones. One of my favorite past times is watching drone footage of traveling in various countries and parks.
A fantasy I had was taking a family cruise that would allow pets so we wouldn’t have to pay for kenneling while we were gone. I don’t like leaving Link behind and that is a big reason why I don’t want to travel now. It was really hard when I was in the hospital and away from him. This is the double edged sword of having companion animals.

Hello to you. How are you? Today my thoughts turn to dreams. Not the kind when you sleep but the kind you have when your awake. Like having dreams for your life – your future. The reason I am thinking about this is because we had another tragic mass shooting at a teenagers birthday party. Four young people who had dreams and goals for their future were killed. When I have spoken of shootings before I mention that time is taken from first responders. What is taken from the victims and their families is dreams…goals…hope for the future. Phil Dowdell was one of the victims in the Dadeville Alabama shooting. He had dreams of persuing a football career – he had a scholarship. In the passion of one moment – poof! Gone! He was only 18 years old. All that promise, hope and plans for the future erased. My thoughts and prayers go out to the community of Dadeville. I hope those critically wounded and others that were wounded at the party make a full recovery. I hope they will have resources for grief counseling.
