https://www.gematrix.org/ – calculator I use to turn words and phrases into numbers – very useful

Tulip = 78  Rose = 57 (red rose 84) Tiger Lily = 117 Crepe Myrtle = 140  Castle = 60 Neuschwanstein = 175 (76) Home = 41 Ludwig = 76 The Swan King = 131 (swan = 57 flip # around and add 1 you get 76)  Kurz = 76  Francis of Assissi (my favorite Saint) = 167/14/5 (67/76 in there).  Benedict Cumberbatch = 158 (13 in there).  Jonathan Rhys Meyers = 238 (13 in here) Elvis Presley = 167 (13 in here, one of my first musical crushes) David Bowie = 94 (13 this way and his name David Jones 103) Matt Smith = 123 (13 is twice in his name. My favorite Dr. Who).  What’s funny is my the name my husband has now doesn’t have 13 in it but the name they were going to give him did!  My ex husband also had 13 in his name, 249, David Bowie 94 was my first true love after my Dad.  One of my favorite things to do is sing and sing = 49!  Interesting to see my life and choices through a different lense!

It’s interesting to think our recognitions, interests and attractions have numbers involved as well as the senses.  Today I found something interesting since I’m always talking about Time Travel etc.  The numeric value for Time Travel (125) and Genetic Breeding Program (215) have the same numbers!  This makes sense if you look at the creation of a family starting with two people’s genetic code.  The  characteristics of each (and their ancestors) pass on to the new being, child.  In some cases making a child look just like their parent or elements of both.  I resemble my Dad’s side of the family more than my Mom’s but both sides, physical and behavioral, are within me.

A couple of spins on the prayer wheel.  This resonated with me:

https://gabbybernstein.com/bookbonus/ and https://www.facebook.com/gabriellebernstein/ – I’ve never heard of Gabrielle Bernstein before this morning.  I found her when I was looking for a message about love and gratitude.  This message is from her Facebook page.  Her message was in line with my desire to share about a simple thing I do with the God of my understanding when I pray and meditate – “Thank you, I love you.”  Just that!  No extensive laundry list of all I could whine or complain about or ask for.  I’m trying to work on getting a more quiet mind and it remains quite a challenge.

https://www.worldprayers.org/prayerwheel/index.html – Spin of the Prayer Wheel brought me this profound message:

On the vast canvas of the self,
the self itself paints
the picture of the various worlds
and the supreme-self itself
derives extreme bliss
from seeing that picture.

A little time traveling now back to August of 2005.  I took this picture at a place Kyle and I used to walk with Sam when we lived in Newark Delaware.  It was off of US-40.  This park had a grove of trees I loved to stand in.  It was like a cathedral to me complete with music and perfect climate control lol.

9 Aug 2018 – Tis the gift to be simple

Hello to you.  Not much to say today.  The dogs and I have been kind of “off” today.  Spot’s tummy has been upset so much she hasn’t wanted her normal indulgences, I’ve been teary and Link has been worried about the two of us!   Kyle is fine….he has video games lol.  My dreams had a music theme last night.  I dreamt about Prince and I had a dream about singing a song I’d never heard before but of course I can’t remember the words.  Before I woke up I was hearing Rod Stewart singing a song with the phrase “Becky’s coming home tonight”  in it.  I looked and that isn’t in the songs I know by him so my mind was off on it’s own with that one!   I need a dream recorder thingy!

Anyhew – I hope this finds you well wherever and whenever you are.  My prayers go out to all the folks being traumatized right now in big or small ways by forces they can’t control.

‘Tis the gift to be simple, ’tis the gift to be free,
‘Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
‘Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gain’d,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be asham’d,
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning we come ’round right.

21 July 2018 Mary and the Witch’s Flower (animated film), chalk drawings, lovely before dark and painting progress

Hello to you in your where, when, here and now as you stop by.  How are you?  I hope you are well in mind, body and spirit and if your not that you are on your way to attaining healing and peace in whatever areas ail you.  I’ve been kind of grumpy lately about things that I have little to no control over.  I’m working on it.  Got a sweet letter from my Mom yesterday and that helps turn a frown upside down!  She mentioned having read some of my blogs and that meant a lot to me.  She is always so busy with living and loving life – activities that usually involve helping others and aren’t on the computer.  For her to take the time for me like that is a pretty big deal to me!

So Kyle and I did that thing we do a lot living so closely connected to each other.  I had gone out and did a drawing with what I perceived as a powerful flower as the focus.  Later in the evening Kyle chose, at random, a delightful animated film called Mary and the Witch’s Flower.  It had a very Harry Potter theme.  One of the voices in the version we watched was actually from the Harry Potter verse!  The voice of Dr. Dee was Jim Broadbent (Horace Slughorn from Harry Potter.)  One of my favorite aspects of the film was how beautifully rendered the nature aspects were done.  In a few frames it was hard to tell if I was looking at an actual scene from nature or a painting.   We like animated films a lot.  The one we are anticipating is the sequel to Castlevania in October!

Do everything with a mind that lets go.
Do not expect any praise or reward.
If you let go a little, you will have a little peace.
If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace.
If you let go completely, you will know complete peace and freedom.
Your struggles with the world
will have come to an end.
