9 Aug 2018 – Tis the gift to be simple

Hello to you.  Not much to say today.  The dogs and I have been kind of “off” today.  Spot’s tummy has been upset so much she hasn’t wanted her normal indulgences, I’ve been teary and Link has been worried about the two of us!   Kyle is fine….he has video games lol.  My dreams had a music theme last night.  I dreamt about Prince and I had a dream about singing a song I’d never heard before but of course I can’t remember the words.  Before I woke up I was hearing Rod Stewart singing a song with the phrase “Becky’s coming home tonight”  in it.  I looked and that isn’t in the songs I know by him so my mind was off on it’s own with that one!   I need a dream recorder thingy!

Anyhew – I hope this finds you well wherever and whenever you are.  My prayers go out to all the folks being traumatized right now in big or small ways by forces they can’t control.

The display has struck an emotional chord around the world and highlighted the plight of the declining population of southern resident killer whales that has not seen a successful birth since 2015.(Michael Weiss/Center for Whale Research via AP)

https://www.worldprayers.org/prayerwheel/index.html – spin of the prayer wheel today brought me to the shaker’s

‘Tis the gift to be simple, ’tis the gift to be free,
‘Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
‘Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gain’d,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be asham’d,
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning we come ’round right.
