# 16 Nov 2018 Mother Earth

16 Nov 2018 Jackie painting outside with fabric paint Alvarado TX DSC_0257 – used up the last of the fabric paint I had. An abstract interpretation of the mother we all share….earth.

What follows here may or may not make any sense to you.  It’s just come to me to put this together and put it out into the blogosphere and hope it helps somehow.  What has been coming to me with these numbers and words is we are tasking nature to a breaking point and cannot delay or procrastinate change much longer.  The earth doesn’t understand delays and or excuses we might make to put off what is hard but must be done.

# 11 Nov 2018 Peace

Hello to you.  I hope this finds you well in your where and when as you visit here.  Kyle and I had a rare adventure yesterday and went to the Steampunk November festival.   We didn’t stay long but did get the honor or talking to and listening to some very good people.  This morning we enjoyed some lovely tea we acquired.  There was books with folded pages, bad yet funny poetry, music and bonfires to sit by and enjoy the atmosphere around us.  Kyle found a treasure of his own as did I.  It was just great to be in the presence of so many creative and interesting souls.  We are grateful.  Our many thanks to the organizers, vendors and performers that make the gathering so special.

Today is a day to honor Veteran’s living and those who have passed on.  The best way I can think to honor them (me as I too am a Veteran) is to “be peace” in your world.  All these folks fought and far too many died for us to still be harming each other with violence via all the weapons we have at our disposal these days made both of metal and words.

Blue Oyster Cult: Veteran of the Psychic Wars

## Veteran of the Psychic Wars

You’re seeing now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars,
I’ve been living on the edge so long, where the winds of Limbo roar.
And I’m young enough to look at,
And far old to see, all the stars are on the inside.
I’m not sure that’s there’s anything left to me

Don’t let these shakes go on!
It’s time we had a break from it,
It’s time we had some leave.
We’ve been living in a place,
We’ve been eating up our brains.
Oh please don’t let these shakes go on!

You ask me why I’m willing, why I can’t speak to you,
You blame me for my silence, saying it’s time I changed and grew.
But the wars still going on dear,
And there’s no one that I know.
And I can’t stand forever.

I can’t say if were ever gonna be free,
Don’t let these shakes go on!
It’s time we had a break from it,
It’s time we had some leave.
We’ve been living in a place,
We’ve been eating up our brains,
Oh please don’t let these shakes go on!

You’re seeing now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars,
My energy is spent at last, and my armor is destroyed,
I have used up all my weapons, and I’m helpless and bereaved.

Wounds are all I’m made of!
Did I hear you say that this is victory?
Don’t let these shakes go on!
It’s time we had a break from it,Send me to the rear!
And been sliding into Hell.

Oh please don’t let these shakes go on!
Don’t let these shakes go on
Don’t let these shakes go on!

Nikola Tesla (/ˈtɛslə/;[2] Serbo-Croatian: [nǐkola têsla]; Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Тесла; 10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943) was a Serbian-American[3][4][5] inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist who is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.[6]

Born and raised in the Austrian Empire, Tesla received an advanced education in engineering and physics in the 1870s and gained practical experience in the early 1880s working in telephony and at Continental Edison in the new electric power industry. He emigrated to the United States in 1884, where he would become a naturalized citizen. He worked for a short time at the Edison Machine Works in New York City before he struck out on his own. With the help of partners to finance and market his ideas, Tesla set up laboratories and companies in New York to develop a range of electrical and mechanical devices. His alternating current (AC) induction motor and related polyphase AC patents, licensed by Westinghouse Electric in 1888, earned him a considerable amount of money and became the cornerstone of the polyphase system which that company would eventually market.

# 8 Nov 2018 In the Dark Spaces

This morning, after processing yet another act of terror in this country, I kept my heart centered with love.  This doesn’t feel like a coincidence to be happening again so soon.  It feels like yet another very public distraction from other goings on in our country.  Instead of feeling anger and all the feelings I normally have felt, I choose love.  I choose truth.  I choose justice.  I pray for the greatest most loving good in all of this.  As a friend I once knew chose as his personal campaign, choose love not hate.  (choose love not hate in Simple Gematria equals: 202)

# Light up a light (easyweimaraner reblog)

(Comment I made on my friend Easy’s blog)

A great message to start my day! What I am trying to do here is fill the “voids” with love. Love is light to cast into the voids of the unknowns of this life. To illuminate what may seem unlovable and see people, places and things differently. Like A flashlight beam into a cave. As Maya Angelou says, “we are more alike than we are unalike.” Hugs to you all there.

### … and celebrate with us….

Today we join Aunty Yam for Divali, the fest of the light where the good beats the evil.  We think our world needs more light what can chase back all shadows and the darkness….

The interesting thing is that nearly all cultures and religions  have such a fest where the light conquers the darkness… there is  Divali the fest of light in Hinduism, Sankt Martin and the Lucia Day and Christmas  the fests of light in Christianity, Mevlid Kandili, the birthday of the prophet  in Islamism, Hanukkah in Judaism and Pavarana the fest of light in Buddhism.

… it seems we have more in common than we think… and couldn’t be that  a reason to see each other not by our religion, color or nationality but as the people we are?

### May our candle (battery operated, of course) bring the light of friendship to all…

“Why empathy?” Silence. “Why compassion?” Silence. “Why should we care about each other?” No one answered. It wasn’t that we didn’t want to answer, we simply struggled to find the best reasoning for it. Perhaps we had never asked ourselves these existential questions before. Perhaps we couldn’t find an answer that wasn’t trite, naïve, or saturated […]

My thoughts:

What came to me, even before finishing reading this, “Fill the void with love.” This is something I am actively trying to do for myself. When there is a “space” a “gap” a lacking for an answer, put positive energy, love, whatever it is that generates warmth in your heart and makes you genuinely happy in that emptiness before hate, bigotry and all the “ism’s and “ists” go to fill it. When those who don’t know what love is go to fill the spaces, they will find love and may be we will finally start getting to where we want to go as a world. It doesn’t mean forget or denial that bad things are happening, wearing rose colored glasses and such. It’s transformation with love – alchemy of love.

Violence of this magnitude is like the detonation of a bomb or any other form of violence against one, against oneself or the many….it spreads one way or another to us all.  When I read Rachel’s story and message, had to pass it on!  She is a beautiful example of courage and not letting fear determine the course of her life.

My comment to Rachel’s post best expresses how I see this:

“The phrase “staying in the warm space” came to mind reading this. “What do you love the most?” energy is what we were taught to tap into during my Quantum Touch Energy healing training. Pure, unconditional love, which our pet family often teaches us about the best, is what we need to take out into the world to help other see what love looks like. Many people in this world have no idea and so they turn to what they know and sadly that is often hate, bigotry and violence. They were taught this. I’m so sorry you and members of the spiritual world you are part of are having to endure this lesser aspect of human nature. Remember, they are broken. It’s easy to pray and love our family and friends, not so much the broken. I have to remind myself about this each day. Love and hugs to you sweet girl.”

(I’m currently reading A Wind In the Door by Madeline L’Engle and ironically loving your enemies is one of Margaret’s lessons.  When you love someone who seems unlovable, sometimes all that is unlovable ceases to exist to reveal who the person underneath all the hate and darkness truly is…worthy of love.  They always were lovable but their existence, for whatever reasons, made them forget.)

A question I have been asking myself a lot lately, “What brings you joy?”  Do I feel my heart in the center of me radiating warmth and light or has it fallen into my stomach or is it stuck in my throat?  The place of fear or obstruction being the throat most times!  You can consciously move where your heart, your fragment of the sun sits within you with your thoughts, feelings and actions.  You have a personal barometer placed right in the center of you to help you navigate this life.  As my Quantum Touch teacher Carol Lee taught me, “If it ain’t light, it ain’t right!”

*I am learning that 13 has to do with the struggle between our natures whether it is in yourself or the world.   The push and pull, the tipping and rebalancing of the scales.

We had a solidarity service at my synagogue last Sunday, in the aftermath of the shootings at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. Four synagogues came together in one building, and by the time Mom and I arrived, twenty minutes before the service started, there was no parking left. People had to stand along the sides of the sanctuary after all of the seats had been filled. The clergy of all four synagogues led the service, with readings by the rabbis and songs by the cantors. There was an enormous amount of crying, but I couldn’t cry. The music was beautiful. The presence of clergy from all of the local Christian denominations was meaningful (the local mosque was planning another service for the following day). But the words didn’t reach me. I just wanted to find comfort, and to feel something, but I couldn’t feel anything.

Maybe if I…

# 1 Nov 2018 The ghost is alive

30 June 2018 – my astral self visiting Bela Lugosi on the island

This morning I woke up to a couple dreams and a message.  One dreams was a brief flash of my calculator with a total appearing in it (think it was the value for alive but not certain) and the other with the shadow of a man standing next to my bed.  The message stuck in my head was, “The Ghost is Alive.”  It was strange, but I’ve gotten so I just go with it.  Write it down, draw it or whatever.

I went and looked at our calendar and I had made a connection with a spiral between All Saints Day and All Souls Day.  I asked Kyle if he did that because I didn’t remember doing it.   He said he just writes the recycling schedule on the calendar, that was me.

I am revisiting a book I bought some time ago about this subject.  Kind of got prompted to it after we saw the movie As Above So Below the other night.  From what I’ve been able to figure out for myself is there is “something” or “potential” energy in between what is life and what is death.  It seems to be what is drawn from to manifest reality – like a fountain comes to mind.  Everything and everyone is made of energy.  What is it that powers us through this life?  The sun, food, water, the energy of other people and life forms and the energy that exists in between it all.  I call it ambient energy.
