Hello to you. I hope this finds you well as you visit here. I am tired tonight as I write to you. Since Kyle has been home, we’ve been playing catch-up on the honey-do list and we’ve been pretty busy. When I’m tired words don’t come easily to me but for some reason pictures do, so I tend to do more drawing. The phrase that comes to mind about this, “WORDS ARE HARD!!”
Today I did a little experiment with my large concrete slab. I had mixed up some grout to do some tile floor repairs and had some leftover. I didn’t want to just throw it away, so I spread it on the slab to see what would happen. Well my advice after this experiment, yeah don’t do that lol! What a powdered mess! Grout for tile floors is definitely meant for grouting lol!
Anyhew. Kyle says the men I drew reminded him of a bunch of Mr. Freeze’s and after looking up what Mr. Freeze looks like just now, he’s right! What I was thinking when I drew this was of a bunch of old men wearing rose-colored glasses while the world is burning around them.
What does it mean to be wearing rose-colored glasses?
wear rose-colored glasses

In the most common variation of his origin story, he is a former cryogenics expert in Gotham City who was involved in a laboratory accident while attempting to cure his terminally ill wife Nora Fries. The disaster lowered his body temperature to the point that he must wear a cryogenic suit in order to survive, and he utilizes a “freeze gun” that freezes its targets solid.
Mantra: No matter how the world is presented to me by others, it is my unique perspective that determines what the world actually is.
We are biologically incapable of perceiving reality exactly the same.
