23 Jan 2017 The yarn nobody wanted, magnet decorating and music from Vikings (History Channel show)

Good morning family, it’s 9:49 am on this Monday morning here in Alvarado TX as I write to you.  How are you doing wherever and whenever you are at in your day?  I hope this finds you well in mind, body and spirit.

Yesterday Kyle and I decided to go be consumers.  I bought some bargain yarn at Michael’s, I’m calling it the yarn that nobody wanted.  The reason I say that is because all the packages of it were still there even after a week or more since the last time I looked at it!  I bought all of it and have started on a corner to corner blanket with it.  It’s turning out to be quite pretty and it will be the perfect weight for warmer months.

In addition to the yarn I bought a replacement fine tip pen for my drawing and a package of over 50 ceramic magnets.  The magnets are for the fridge and Kyle had a good idea of what I could do to make them fancy to look at, glue decorative glass to them.  I like to have pictures on my fridge and the other magnets we had were too weak to hold them all in place.  Another thing I did with a couple of the extra magnets this morning was to put them around my weird science experiment I have going on with GANS made of sea salt water, copper wire and metal scraps.  When I put my hands near it, it gives off the most pleasant warm sensation!  What’s interesting is one side has become completely blue and the other has stayed clear.

The spin of the World Prayers Wheel:

http://www.worldprayers.org/prayerwheel/index.html

When I am liberated by silence,
when I am no longer involved
in the measurement of life, but in the living of it,
I can discover a form of prayer in which
there is effectively no distraction.
My whole life becomes a prayer.
My whole silence is full of prayer.
The world of silence in which I am immersed
contributes to my prayer.

  1. I wonder why nobody wanted this yard… I think it looks great… but I had to biggy-fy the photo to see how cool it is… that probably is it… alot of people are to busy to look close and to discover the beautiful things at the second look… make the comfiest and cuddliest blankets with it… this yard waited for you to create wonderful things :o)

    • Yes indeed Margarita. I like to keep my hands busy, “idle hands are the devils playthings” or in my case wander into the fridge a bit too often LOL! Love to you my friend.
