12 Nov 2016 Steampunk November (Venus TX) opening night, Streams in the Desert (Daily Meditation) and New Testament

Good morning Family.  I’m up (couldn’t stay asleep) and it’s 2:57 am here as I write to you.  A lot on my mind!  Last night we had quite a bit of excitement!  The two of us haven’t really ventured out much since we moved here to North Texas.  One of the things we really enjoyed when we came here was going to the http://www.srfestival.com/ (Scarborough Festival in Waxahachie TX) but we kind of got disenchanted about it because it seemed like you needed to have so much money to enjoy yourself.  Every time we sat down to watch something, you felt like you had to have money for the performers which I felt should be paid by the Festival promoters!  You paid for the tickets to get in to the main event and then everything you did while you were in the event was for “tips” which felt to me a lot like being in church!  I felt like something wasn’t quite right about things, like your ticket should cover everything that happened while you were at the Festival entertainment wise.

Well last night we went to the opening night of Steampunk November, which we thought, and it was advertised on our tickets, was in Mansfield TX. When we plugged in the address on our tickets, the GPS said the event was actually in Venus which was confusing!  Our GPS knew the address and we just had to trust it to get us there and it did.  Kyle did a few deviations from the route because we really love Mansfield the town and he wanted to find a more direct way to get us there for future excursions!   The GPS knew where we were despite the course corrections so that was good.  This event location was quite “hidden” but such a beautiful location!  We had a great view of the full moon and the stars last night in this place.

Since it was opening night, there were only a few of us and many of us, vendors and people like Kyle and I, were literally “virgins.”  On our way in to get our tickets, there was even an Olive Oil truck!  We had found out about this Festival when we went to the Pickle Festival in Mansfield earlier in the year.  Some regulars from the Fair were dressed up in their best Steampunk regalia and handing out wrist-bands with information and both Kyle and I were so excited!  We have just been learning about the Steampunk genre – the fusion of the new and the old to make the new!  This is like an archetype of the relationship Kyle and I have!  He’s 16 years my junior but we make it work and are so good for each other!

It was quite dark by the time we got our tickets and started to explore the place.  We were welcomed by nearly every single vendor and I was just amazed and inspired by such a wealth of craftspeople and people who sell the crafts of others but with the sole intention of trying to help spread the word about these talented people!  Such a man as Jack from Steam Chest (wwww.chestofsteam.com).  It was an absolute honor for me to be able to talk to fellows who share my love of creation and just want to do it every day!  It’s their passion and is what drives them to want to be here!  It makes them feel alive and worthwhile….gives them purpose!  All of this resonates with me so much because I am the same.  Our only difference, and this is because of my circumstances, is I do my creating with no need to make a profit.  Most people like I spoke to, their work is their “bread and butter.”  They have to sell things to be able to afford to make more things….to pay for supplies and keep themselves and their families in food, clothing, shelter with electricity, phone service and most of all clean drinking water.   The phrase “starving artist” applies here.  Those who are “true” to the “heart” of their passion tend to not make a lot of money and can lead a life of “hand-t0-mouth.”  This is a shame and it didn’t used to be this way!

I’ve shared may times here about the importance of putting love into everything you do — love is the most powerful “energy” we generate as human beings!  Remember Harry Potter…..why did Harry Live?  It was because he had the hand of his mother’s love upon him.   I am a lot like Harry in that regard.  I am touched with my Mother Jeanne’s love and the love of every single person who ever loved her also love me!

So back to last night……

The evening ended on kind of a low note.  A couple of things happened and I am not blaming anyone for it.  We had talked to so many amazing people and then we got to a couple of vendors who were selling things that are near and dear to my heart — wire wrap jewelry, crystals and art.    The first “whammy” I’ll call it, kind of like Red Kryptonite for SuperGirl, was the wire wrap jewelry and crystals vendor.  Her designs were of such a caliber!  I was in complete awe at her talent but then the crystal table literally “cried out” to me and I went over there to a table of various quartz and other gemstone crystals fashioned into all matter of forms.  I ran my hand over them to try and find who was “screaming” and it was like talking to a family….a dysfunctional, fragmented consciousness.  I held some very “wounded” amethyst fragments and nearly cried holding them.  I found a large quartz “wounded warrior” and I think that was the one screaming at me.  I believe crystals, and I had to learn this from our Native Brothers and Sisters (Voices of our Ancestors book) that these Crystals are not just “rocks” but they are sentient fragments of Mother Earth.  When we harvest these beings from the earth and buy, sell, trade and “shape” them, it’s not much different than what we have done in the name of Slavery.  By the time I found the one in so much pain,  I was in so much pain and disoriented that I had to leave the booth and I felt bad about that.  The young man who was there with us seemed to be someone like me! I would have enjoyed talking to him in more depth but was unable.  I saw him later and wanted to talk to him but just was too compromised.   May be when we come back today, I will have another chance?

The final blow was when we went to a booth that had a Brothers Grimm type arrangement.  I won’t go into all the particulars about our encounter but I did caution them to take care what spells you weave with words.  When you think, write and speak “horror”…..you are manifesting dimensions of it.    What we focus on expands and gains power and such is the way of both God and Demons.  It’s one thing to draw and write out your inner traumas into a journal or draw a picture but quite another to then try and turn a profit by selling your nightmares.  You are passing them on.    I am not judging these two young men in any way because I understand them.  I have been them with the exception of ever trying to profit from sharing my personal horrors.

The way that I work through my personal horrors and traumas is through a combination of things which included praying, meditating, naps, reading, writing, drawing, crafts, singing, dancing, running, a loving sexual partner, friendships, and  the amazing support systems I developed through  the years which included Clergy, Psychiatrists and Psychologists.  My doctors are not just doctors, they are my family, they are my friends!  You don’t have to have a piece of paper to be a “Doctor.”  All my doctors want their patients to get well so they don’t “need” them anymore.  Money is not the primary motivation for their calling!  That is the oath they took!  The Hippocratic oath (not to be confused with very similar word Hypocrisy).

First Do No Harm!

When it is my time to go, whenever and wherever that may be, my papers detailing my journey will never be bought and sold.   They will be available for anyone to read in the context of learning what I have been through and learning from my mistakes……be a better person for knowing I wasn’t perfect.  This is a lesson my brothers and sisters at Alcoholics Anonymous taught me – we are here to share our experience, strength and Hope with others.

So I will close things up here!  We are planning on going back to the Festival in the light so we can get a better view of the amazing people that I’m sure will be gathered there!

11 Nov 2016 Hearing the Voice (the God of your understanding in your favorite songs), Mind the tone of your voice, and the importance of energy disbursement in building design (Give and Take of “building batteries”)

Good morning family. This morning I woke to the song by Enigma, Gravity of Love inside my head and that lead me to a train of thought. It lead me to thinking about my last movie theater experience being very cold. It’s about energy disbursement – give and take. The same for any buildings we occupy. One of the best designs for a home was this, the Native American Teepee!  It’s important that there be a healthy exchange of energy.  Think about how much “people” energy a bunch of people sitting in an enclosed theatre makes – I know you have seen the “rising steam” at outdoor concerts…..that’s not just people smoking pot lol.  There must be Give and Take in the exchange of energy and EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE is a “power cell” of the One.

Source Internet - Native Americans understood they couldn't not completely separate themselves from their Mother and Father....they knew there must be give and take.

The following songs are a path I followed this morning and I hope you will take the time, to follow too. I have been visiting these “places” for many years and have even shared them here many times, but what I had to do, and I suggest you do this also, is pay closer attention to the lyrics….the words of the “songs”.   Songs aren’t just “musical” they are speeches and rhetoric also!  Some people aren’t that physically attractive but their voices are mesmerizing!  I know a few people like that….this gift can be used for good or for malice.  Therein is the voice of the God of my understanding trying to help me navigate my way through this life. There is a reason certain songs “resonate” with us and evoke strong emotions and feelings. It’s because, contrary to what psychiatrists have literally drilled into our heads, God is speaking to us.

Pay attention to the “tone” of what you say and what you sing.   Great interview with a man I think is pretty special and have enjoyed manifest into the amazing actor AND musician he is:

Gravity of Love

Gravity Of Love

Enigma

Turn around and smell what you don’t see Close your eyes it is so clear Here’s the mirror, behind there is a screen On both ways you can get in

Don’t think twice before you listen to your heart Follow the trace for a new start

What you need and everything you’ll feel Is just a question of the deal In the eye of storm you’ll see a lonely dove The experience of survival is the key To the gravity of love

The path of excess leads to The tower of Wisdom The path of excess leads to The tower of Wisdom

Try to think about it That’s the chance to live your life and discover What it is, what’s the gravity of love

Look around just people, can you hear their voice Find the one who’ll guide you to the limits of your choice

But if you’re in the eye of storm Just think of the lonely dove The experience of survival is the key To the gravity of love.

The Carnival Is Over

Dead Can Dance

Outside The storm clouds gathering, Moved silently along the dusty boulevard. Where flowers turning crane their fragile necks So they can in turn Reach up and kiss the sky.

They are driven by a strange desire Unseen by the human eye Someone is calling.

I remember when you held my hand In the park we would play when the circus came to town. Look! Over here.

Outside The circus gathering Moved silently along the rainswept boulevard. The procession moved on the shouting is over The fabulous freaks are leaving town.

They are driven by a strange desire Unseen by the human eye. The carnival is over

We sat and watched As the moon rose again For the very first time.

House Of The Rising Sun

Five Finger Death Punch

There is a house in Sin City They call the Rising Sun And it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy And God, I know I’m one

My mother was a tailor She sewed my new blue jeans My father was a gamblin’ man Down in Sin City

Now the only thing a gambler needs Is a suitcase and a trunk And the only time he’s satisfied Is when he’s on a drunk

Well, I’ve got one foot on the platform The other’s on the train I’m goin’ back to Sin City To wear that ball and chain

Well, mother, tell your children Never do what I have done Spend your lives in sin and misery In the house of the rising sun

In the house of the rising sun

Well, there is a house in Sin City They call the Rising Sun And it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy And God, knows I, I’m one

Five Finger Death Punch – Wrong Side Of Heaven

Wrong Side Of Heaven

Five Finger Death Punch

I spoke to God today and she said that she’s ashamed What have I become. What have I done I spoke to the devil today and he swears he’s not to blame And I understood ’cause I feel the same

Arms wide open I stand alone I’m no hero and I’m not made of stone Right or wrong I can hardly tell I’m on the wrong side of heaven and the righteous side of hell The wrong side of heaven and the righteous side, The righteous side of hell

I heard from God today and she sounded just like me What have I done and who have I become I saw the devil today and he looked a lot like me I looked away, I turned away

Arms wide open I stand alone I’m no hero and I’m not made of stone Right or wrong I can hardly tell I’m on the wrong side of heaven and the righteous side of hell The wrong side of heaven and the righteous side, The righteous side of hell

I’m not defending Downward descending Falling further and further away Getting closer every day

I’m getting closer every day To the end, to the end, the end of the end I’m getting closer every day

Arms wide open I stand alone I’m no hero And I’m not made of stone Right or wrong I can hardly tell I’m on the wrong side of heaven and the righteous side of hell I’m on the wrong side of heaven and the righteous side of hell The wrong side of heaven and the righteous side, Righteous side of hell

Good morning family.  It’s the Morning After and I decided on something.  No matter what happens next, I will remain true to who I Am.  I will continue to love my neighbors as myself, I will continue to lead by my example and will remain teachable.    It doesn’t matter what anyone else is doing right now, what matters is what I feel, what I think, what I say and do.  It is in the power of our intention we manifest entire worlds.    It occurred to me this morning that the Earth is very much like a battery.  A battery has a positive and a negative charge.  So is the way of Mother Earth.  What happened is we got out of balance and there was “too much” negative charge.  I pray in the coming days we can all work together, as we have up to this moment in time brothers and sisters, to restore balance.  My love to you wherever and whenever you are right now as you visit me here.

Similar to Stonehenge and other henges around the globe, the Arctic Henge is compass and calendar, with the sun at the solstice and equinoxes visible through various arches in the structure. Unlike Stonehenge, comparatively small slabs of stone were used to make the arches here. On each stone is engraved the name of a dwarf referenced in a poem of Norse mythology called the Völuspá. Remember what I told you about a “refinement process” about creation.  Sometimes it takes several tries to “get it right.”

There’s got to be a morning after If we can hold on through the night We have a chance to find the sunshine Let’s keep on lookin’ for the light Oh, can’t you see the morning after It’s waiting right outside the storm Why don’t we cross the bridge together And find a place that’s safe and warm It’s not too late, we should be giving Only with love can we climb It’s not too late, not while we’re living Let’s put our hands out in time There’s got to be a morning after We’re moving closer to the shore I know we’ll be there by tomorrow And we’ll escape the darkness We won’t be searchin’ any more There’s got to be a morning after (There’s got to be a morning after) There’s got to be a morning after (There’s got to be a morning after) There’s got to be a morning after (There’s got to be a morning after) There’s got to be a morning after (There’s got to be a morning after) There’s got to be a morning after MAUREEN MCGOVERN

8 Nov 2016 Smoke Signals (1998 film – one of the best I’ve ever seen), Fry Bread (recipe) and Freedom….How do we forgive our Fathers

Good morning family it’s 7:13 am…..the month and day of the birth of my husband Kyle Martin Wygant (the year of his birth was 1984).  Today we will be voting for the next President of the United States.  Kyle said he is certain one thing as he prepares to go the polls after class today, he will not be voting for Donald Trump.  I know nothing else on his part but I don’t need to know.  Who he votes for is his personal decision and I have no right to judge him whichever person he should choose.  He had said he was going to handwrite in Bernie Sanders but I don’t know if he still will.  That ship has sailed in this dimension.

I wish you all much love, light and a special dashes of Wisdom and Courage.  Today is truly going to be an awesome day.  I woke up with this being my first words, “Today is going to be awesome because I have Faith.”

How do we forgive our Fathers? Maybe in a dream Do we forgive our Fathers for leaving us too often or forever when we were little?

Maybe for scaring us with unexpected rage or making us nervous because there never seemed to be any rage there at all.

Do we forgive our Fathers for marrying or not marrying our Mothers? For Divorcing or not divorcing our Mothers?

And shall we forgive them for their excesses of warmth or coldness? Shall we forgive them for pushing or leaning for shutting doors for speaking through walls or never speaking or never being silent?

Do we forgive our Fathers in our age or in theirs or their deaths saying it to them or not saying it?

If we forgive our Fathers what is left?

* This poem is read during the last scene in Smoke Signals. It was originally published in a longer version titled “Forgiving Our Fathers” in a book of poems titled Ghost Radio published by Hanging Loose Press in 1998

Fry Bread Recipe – I’ve started making this instead of full loaves of bread and find it’s a very satisfying meal even just by itself!

2 1/2 cups flour (adjust as needed)

1/2 tsp salt

1 TBSP Baking Powder

3/4 cup water or milk

Combine ingredients – adjust flour as needed.  Want a bread dough texture, shouldn’t be “wet.”

Take palm size clump of dough.  Drop into separate bowl of plain flour.  Roll around until coated.  Then flatten to palm size pieces.

For griddle – 1/2 inch to 1 inch hot oil (I use peanut or olive oil).  Preheat while rolling dough.  Drop “flats” in oil.  Want a golden crust on both sides.  Use tongues to flip.  Can leave plain or drop into paper bag that has sugar/cinnamon mix (we use organic powdered sugar and sprinkle that on top – sometimes add cinnamon to the dough).  Cool on paper towel covered plate.  This recipe makes about 8 palm size pieces.  Can Fry Daddy deep fat fry cook – that’s what we use.   This is a variation of a recipe my Dad and I used to share when I was a little girl.  He would buy frozen bread dough instead and cut it up and deep fat fry them.

7 Nov 2016 The Fight, concert before I left Florida (Chris Botti and Dave Koz Christmas Concert), Archetypes and the Election Tomorrow, and Have I Told You Lately That I Love You (Rod Stewart)

Good morning family. How are you doing today wherever and whenever you are? I’m doing better. Kyle and I had a fight this morning and had to walk and talk it out. He’s having to face some things that are difficult when you are married to someone like me. He’s been through so much these past 13 or so years. He had to help me make a decision to never have children, he had to see me admitted to a mental health hospital twice and he’s had to try and understand a practical alien in his midst….speaking and operating in a language system he doesn’t understand. As I have been fully “manifesting” who I am (again) and this time without medication, he’s been seeing familiar behavior patterns emerge that happened prior to my hospitalization that past two times and it’s frightened him…..he’s afraid to lose me again.

I’ve tried to reassure him but this morning, for the second time, he threw his fears of my past in my face and I snapped back. The last tthree times I was “like this” I wasn’t allowed to fully manifest to myself….to heal without really bad drugs being administered into my system to try a facilitate “normalcy” and “compliance” and “silence” out of me. This time, there are no medications obstructing the path I have needed to take for 35+ years. He got to hear my resentment about being put into isolation and to be heavily sedated to try and “cure” me. In hearing this, with the tone I used, his own resentment, fear and anger bubble he’s had inside “popped” finally. He’s never had a chance to properly grieve what HE’S been through in trying to be there for me. We both got a walk in and did some talking and crying together. He’s not used to seeing me as I am right now and it’s intimidating. He has some things to work through, some decisions to make. We cannot continue to walk together if he wants to keep throwing my past in my present.

Changing gears……

Just prior to my leaving Florida to join Kyle in Delaware, a friend I made through AA meetings (Satellite Beach) and I went to at Trinity Presbyterian Church, invited me to go to a Christmas Concert with her to see Chris Botti and Dave Koz play. I can remember when I saw Christopher walk on stage thinking, he looks just like an angel! He was just this glowing, confident and beautiful man who played trumpet like, well, I imagine an angel would! He is of course a human being but incredibly talented, as is his friend Dave. These two men helped guide me to another Trumpeteer, Kyle’s Dad, Tim Wygant! Something inside me was validated by going to this concert. Follow the Trumpet and you will find home!

The subject of Archetypes has been heavily on my mind as Kyle and I have been watching SuperGirl and as I’ve been reflecting on the “players” in my life thus far. As I’ve mentioned before, the way I think is in terms of how things are alike more than unalike. This brings me to choosing between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump because even though in my heart of hearts I know that really, we have two choices in this election. We’ve come too far….there is no time for a “redo” or “rewind” as the Buggles would say (Radio Killed the Video Star…first MTV music video).

Last night I decided to follow a train of thought that has been bugging me for quite some time. Ever since the first time I noticed how much Hillary Clinton’s eyes remind me of someone I loved, many of us loved and lost, Princess Lady Diana. I know it’s wierd, but follow me on this “train.”

Source Internet: princess-diana-and-hillary-clinton

Source Internet: princess-diana-and-hillary-clinton

Last night, in following the train I found several pictures of a much younger Hillary Clinton and Lady Diana together! They both looked so happy! The thought came to me that they were almost like sisters in a way. The reason I thought that was the movie Dracula Untold and how they showed the practice, back in the day, of royal families sending their children off to live in the courts of rival houses. They were sent there to learn how the other houses operated, their customs, their culture and also it was a way of keeping peace between countries. Now I’m not saying that Princess Diana and Hillary Clinton are sisters but I am saying they could be. It’s in the eyes (and smile). How I “see” people within people and connections between people usually starts with the eyes and then the smile.

So following this train of thought further I began to think of who else Hillary reminds me of and that would be, ironically, my step-mother who is also named Dianne! Part of what has turned me off about Hillary is the aspects of her that remind me of the more unpleasant parts I have experienced with my Mom. The same would be for Donald Trump. The aspects of him I do not like are much like those I do not respect in my own Father. Hillary and Donald are archetypes, for me, of my own parents.

Is this what other people in this country and world are experiencing too but just didn’t realize it? The people who are famous, who are high level political figures…..those who are “running this bitch lol” are oftentimes archetypes for people much closer to our own lives and this can be a good or a bad thing!

So what does this mean for me personally in terms of the election tomorrow?

My Mother Dianne and I have come so far together in dealing with all our past misunderstandings and personal issues. She allowed me to do Quantum Touch on her and it was one of the most moving and precious memories of my life with her! She actually acknowledged that what we shared together actually helped her unlike when I did this for my Dad. He didn’t feel anything, so he said, even though he acted quite differently afterwards. My Mom has allowed me to ask her things that were incredibly scary to ask, “Are you disappointed in me?” and you know what she said, “I’m sorry you’ve been what you have been through but NEVER disappointed!” That was SO BIG! Something I’ve never been able to truly do with my Dad because his entire being is claptrapped shut! My Dad has built an iron box around himself and I have wanted so many times to tear it off of him, wanted him to let me into the Pandora’s Box he has become but I have resigned to myself that it can’t be done. This is what he has chosen and I must respect and love him just as he is….accept him as he is. We either accept people as they are or we have to let them go. You can’t change people, they have to want to change themselves.

In another dimension, Bernie Sanders will be elected President but we are living in this one, right here, right now. I would love it if we truly had more than two choices, in my heart, as much as it hurts, I know now we don’t.

So in the spirit of archetypes, I’m With Her. If my Mom was running for President, I would vote for her because I have “faith” in her.  Faith was my Mother Jeanne’s middle name….mine is Joy and if I had a daughter her first name was going to be Hope.  My Mom Dianne would have made (would make) a fantastic Priest too btw.  She has give her everything to the Catholic Church.

6 Nov 2016 Her favorite color was pink (abduction and murder of Kayla Gomez Orozco), Good Faith (McDonalds breakfast), City Parks, Glenwood Cemetery (Col Glenn Vera, Gen Estes and Kell)

Good morning family.  Today is a day of mixed emotions.  I am particularly sad about finding out last night before watching Saturday Night Live with Benedict Cumberbatch hosting, that a little girl I had found out was missing was found dead….in a well.

(I first found out about Kayla’s Amber alert on the 2nd of November and so hoped she would be found!  I remember seeing her picture and my heart just started racing with fear.  Yesterday Kyle and I had references to “wells” prior to finding out about Kayla.  One was sadly Kyle had acquired a decorative well he placed in his avatar Morrigu’s dimensional home in FFXIV just yesterday morning!  Kayla’s favorite color was pink…..I had been playing Rift in my new character Brightiara in the morning also and players were talking about favorite colors online and I said mine was pink.  Someone mentioned something about blue and green and I said they go together nicely and someone else said, “Yo, Teal.”  I even made Brightiara’s wings pink….little did I know how significant that was.)

Police in Texas believe they have found the body of a 10-year-old girl, four days after she vanished from a church and sparked a nationwide Amber Alert.

Cops fear the remains of Kayla Gomez-Orozco have been discovered in a well Bullard, two miles away from where she went missing, following a tip, KSLA reported.

The youngster was last seen on Tuesday at the Bullard First Assembly Church where she was attending a prayer service with her family.

Authorities initially believed she may have been snatched by a stranger.

But on Saturday night, KHOU reported that her uncle was being questioned in relation to her death.

It is not known why he is being interviewed. Police have not made any arrests in connection to Kayla’s disappearance.

Officers said she was in ‘grave danger’ when she first disappeared.

The sheriff’s department got a tip at about 6pm Saturday which led them to the body, Cherokee County Sheriff James Campbell told the TV station.

Evidence has also been found at an Old Jackson Highway property, prompting police to apply for a search warrant, according to KSLA.

Campbell has said: ‘The family seems to be a very good, hard-working, religious family with no problems.’

We did a “good faith” breakfast (breakfast is my favorite meal of the day) at McDonalds this morning. I say that because we had boycotted them because of what we found out was going on with their food. I noticed that they have been honestly trying to get things back to balance with their product and wanted to give them a sign from me that I appreciated them doing that! They are trying! Great place to start! Kyle and I talked about eating out being cheaper than eating in. It’s less tasking on resources like water and supplies. The whole problem has been the quality of the food you are served when you go out to eat. If the food is nutritious and made and served with love….it’s just as good as a “home-cooked” meal. There are people who are really adept and have special expertise in this arena and there is great potential in this. There are some things from our past that we have abandoned that really used to “serve” us.

Afterwards we went to our local park, Parkway Park, because I love city parks. Anyplace I’ve ever lived, parks have been a top priority for me to find because they are like churches to me. What’s nice about our park is they have recycling receptacles thanks to a young man who fought for them to be there a couple of years ago. A man we saw for the last time 4 years ago…..the last election. He wasn’t going to vote for a President who wanted equal rights for homosexuals….he wasn’t going to vote at all. We agreed to disagree but I remember being disappointed for him. His ancestors and ours, black, white, brown, red and yellow men and women….white men and women like my Grandfather and Grandmother, risked and actually sacrificed their lives so all of us could vote. If you don’t vote, you have no right to complain about what the outcome is. I did my “tree hugging” while I was there. If these ancient beings didn’t love and tolerate us, we wouldn’t still be here. “The Trees are the Life.” (Retreet Grady McGahan)

From the park, I wanted to go to visit our local cemetery, Glenwood Cemetary, to visit a grave I found when I first moved here to Alvarado, a baby named Donnie Biggs. As we pulled to park, I remembered one of the best commanding officers I ever had – Col Glenn Vera. He came to the 534 Training Squadron when it was under the command of someone who didn’t have very good people skills and hurt me very much. He improved morale and brought us together like a family. When they, he, left me behind when they moved from Falcon AFB CO to California I thought I would just die and nearly had a break-down. He proved I wasn’t “abandoned” and came to see me when I was working at HQ Air Force Space Command at Peterson AFB CO…..the gray “hell” with cubicles. A place that nearly sucked any life I had in me and the place I was initially diagnosed with dysthymia with the help of a co-worker who could see I was having emotional problems. The Commander in Chief of Air Force Space Command at the time was General Estes and I really respected this man. He treated me like a human being and I used to run into him on base riding his bike and even in the base exchange buying socks….being a normal person like me. (Colonel Emily Chamberlin, Sharon Simons, Major Leslie Formolo, MSgt Babcock, MSgt Ty Souza….other names that come to mind in this train of thought that helped me survive “Bldg 1″….like Room 101 of 1984.)

When I was at Mesa Springs those three weeks, one of the first people I met was a man simply named “Kell.” He and I became fast friends and helped each other. He and I walked and talked together a lot. Every time I looked at him, he reminded me of two people! One was Gen Estes and the other was Benedict Cumberbatch as a much older man! He would call me “kiddo” lol. When I was with him I kept thinking of a song, “Cats and the Cradle” and he was “little boy blue and the man on the moon.” He taught me about time travel. I know it was wierd but it had to do with keeping the daily itineraries “organized” and I did a lot of shuffling of those itineraries which seemed to include getting an extra day somehow. I’m very grateful to Kell and hope wherever, and whenever he is, he’s doing great!

Finally, closing with why I initially wanted to go to visit the cemetery. It was to visit Donnie…DB…..and in addition to a very well-worn penny I had left from one of my last visits, there was an old friend I hadn’t remembered seeing since I was a little girl….on DB’s tombstone was a Daddy-Long-Leg Garden Spider. One of the most gentle spiders on the planet.

P.S On the way to McDonalds we saw two German Shepherds on the side of the road, one of them appeared to be injured so we took the time to call the Johnson County Non-Emergency number and report it so help could come for them. I would do that for a human, why wouldn’t I do that for a dog or any other brother or sister I share this planet with?!

It came to me to share these pictures with you for some reason, so just going with it.

For Kayla……

5 Nov 2016 What the world is for, making electricity…..MGMT Electric Feel….when the giving and taking of energy gets “one-sided”

Good afternoon family.  Had a bit of a revelation listening to a song I hadn’t listened to for a couple of years now but when I first heard it I went gaga over it because of the lyrics and the emphasis on my favorite thing….Energy/Electricity.  As I’ve shared, I believe EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is energy so this song makes a lot of sense to me….even more so today.  We are all part of a ginormous energy system and we, in part, are batteries for it but not regular batteries like we’ve made….the kind that just store energy for us to use up and throw away…..recycle.  No, it’s a give and take system.  Right now that “system” is horribly out of balance and we are literally draining the life force of this planet with the activities going on in the Energy Industry – fossil fuel in particular.  It’s give and take….balance….synchronization…..harmony.    We have to be careful, those of us who are, in some cases, literally giving their lives in the quest for alternative energy sources for the planet that we don’t do things that would harm others in the process of making our points heard.

I learned about these concepts when I took a couple of Quantum Touch Energy Healing courses from Carol Lee and Jason Carlson.   The founder of Quantum Touch, Richard Gordon found a way to share his knowledge and experience of what happens in the realm of energy and healing.   You have to be very careful in this line of energy healing work not to take more than you give.  The same holds true for ALL aspects of energy exchanges on this planet.

She got the current in her hand Just shock you like you won’t believe

Sun in the amazon With the voltage running through her skin

Standing there with nothing on

She gonna teach me how to swim

I said ooh girl

Shock me like an electric eel

Baby girl

Turn me on with your electric feel

I said ooh girl

Shock me like an electric eel

Baby girl

Turn me on with your electric feel

All along the eastern shore

Put your circuits in the sea

This is what the world is for

Making electricity

You can feel it in your mind

Oh you can do it all the time

Plug it in, change the world You are my electric girl

I said ooh girl

5 Nov 2016 Morning Train of Thought – From Cars, Bridges, Elvis Presley, Ten Commandments, Aniconism, Incan Mummy Girl (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) to the Incan Empire

Good morning to you family.   How are you wherever and whenever you are today?  I got some sleep which was very welcomed and much needed.  The inner prompting this morning began with a very old musical friend which lead me to another!  It was a reverse order kind of thing….Gary Numan’s song Car’s (a song I about wore out listening to as a teen!) which lead me to Elvis Presley!  Kyle asked me why when I heard the video I’ve linked I was getting goose bumps all over my body, “Oh my God” explanation and bawling…..I said “I’m having a memory.”  Elvis Presley was a guiding voice for me for so much of my early years!  I can remember listening to him on those little 45’s on the ancient technology device (now lol) called a record player LOL!  I can still remember where I was when he left us.  I was in a hot attic with my cousin Kelly Siemonsma and we just were in shock!  It was devastating especially the “way” he went.  Some of what happened he did to himself but ALOT of it is what WE, his fans put on him.  He, like many celebrities of today, can’t even take a shit (Ben Cumberbatch just recently referenced someone actually trying to get a picture of him when he needed to go to the bathroom!) without someone trying to bother him.  When you make “idols” out of human beings you make them prisoners of their own fame.  The God of my understanding (of my youth) was pretty clear about not doing that….it’s actually one of the Ten Commandments:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aniconism_in_Islam

how and when to remove this template message)

Aniconism in Islam is a proscription in Islam against the creation of images of sentient beings. The most absolute proscription is of images of God in Islam, followed by depictions of Muhammad, and then Islamic prophets and the relatives of Muhammad, but the depiction of all humans and non-human animals is discouraged in the hadith and by the long tradition of Islamic authorities, especially Sunni ones. This has led to Islamic art being dominated by Islamic geometric patterns, calligraphy and the barely representational foliage patterns of the arabesque; but figurative art still has a strong tradition, especially on a small scale in private works for the home or palace. The proliferation of photographic and filmed images today has led to controversy, with some religious authorities stating, for example, that all television is un-Islamic, but this is not a widely held position.

Q’iswa Chaka rope bridge over the Apurímac River Peru

Okay, this rope bridge isn’t nearly as terrifying as it looks. Brave travelers and locals alike say that this ancient suspension construction can hold a surprising amount of weight. We say ‘ancient’ because a rope bridge has been at this location for centuries. The structure itself is replaced annually during a three-day community work project that goes from harvesting a particularly tough local grass, to rope braiding, to actually weaving the bridge itself. And if you fall, the waters of the Apurímac River flow below. Hey, that’s better than pointy rocks and sticks, isn’t it?

The Inca first appeared in the Andes region during the 12th century A.D. and gradually built a massive kingdom through the military strength of their emperors. Known as Tawantinsuyu, the Inca state spanned the distance of northern Ecuador to central Chile and consisted of 12 million inhabitants from more than 100 different ethnic groups at its peak. Well-devised agricultural and roadway systems, along with a centralized religion and language, helped maintain a cohesive state. Despite their power, the Inca were quickly overwhelmed by the diseases and superior weaponry of Spanish invaders, the last bastion of their immense empire overtaken in 1572.

The Inca first appeared in what is today southeastern Peru during the 12th century A.D. According to some versions of their origin myths, they were created by the sun god, Inti, who sent his son Manco Capac to Earth through the middle of three caves in the village of Paccari Tampu. After killing his brothers, Manco Capac led his sisters and their followers through the wilderness before settling in the fertile valley near Cusco circa 1200.

The Inca began expanding their land holdings by the reign of their fourth emperor, Mayta Capac. However, they did not truly become an expansive power until the eighth emperor, Viracocha Inca, took control in the early 15th century. Bolstered by the military capabilities of two uncles, Viracocha Inca defeated the Ayarmaca kingdom to the south and took over the Urubamba Valley. He also established the Inca practice of leaving military garrisons to maintain peace in conquered lands.

When the rival Chancas attacked circa 1438, Viracocha Inca retreated to a military outpost while his son, Cusi Inca Yupanqui, successfully defended Cusco. Taking the title of Pachacuti, Inca Yupanqui became one of the Inca’s most influential rulers. His military campaigns extended the kingdom to the southern end of the Titicaca Basin, and hundreds of miles north to subject the Cajamarca and Chimu kingdoms.

The expanding reach of the Inca state, Tawantinsuyu, prompted strategic logistical considerations. Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui is believed to have been the first Inca emperor to order forced resettlement to squash the possibility of an uprising from one ethnic group. In addition, he established the practice in which rulers were prevented from inheriting the possessions of their predecessors, thereby ensuring that successive leaders would conquer new lands and accumulate new wealth.

Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui also focused his efforts on strengthening Cusco, the center of the empire. He expanded Sacsahuaman, the massive fortress that guarded the city, and embarked on an expansive irrigation project by channeling rivers and creating intricate agricultural terraces.

Although Tawantinsuyu was comprised of more than 100 distinct ethnic groups among its 12 million inhabitants, a well-developed societal structure kept the empire running smoothly. There was no written language, but a form of Quechua became the primary dialect, and knotted cords known as quipu were used to keep track of historical and accounting records. Most subjects were self-sufficient farmers who tended to corn, potatoes, squash, llamas, alpacas and dogs, and paid taxes through public labor. A system of roadways adding up to approximately 15,000 miles crisscrossed the kingdom, with relay runners capable of advancing messages at the rate of 150 miles per day.

The Inca religion centered on a pantheon of gods that included Inti; a creator god named Viracocha; and Apu Illapu, the rain god. Impressive shrines were built throughout the kingdom, including a massive Sun Temple in Cusco that measured more than 1,200 feet in circumference. Powerful priests depended on divination to diagnose illness, solve crimes and predict the outcomes of warfare, in many cases requiring animal sacrifice. The mummified remains of previous emperors were also treated as sacred figures and paraded around at ceremonies with their stores of gold and silver.

Upon ascending to the throne in 1471, Topa Inca Yupanqui pushed the southern border of the empire to the Maule River in modern-day Chile, and instituted a tribute system in which each province provided women to serve as temple maidens or brides for celebrated soldiers. His successor, Huayna Capac, embarked on successful northern campaigns that carried to the Ancasmayo River, the current boundary between Ecuador and Colombia.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Spanish explorers had already triggered the collapse of the state. The Spanish carried such alien diseases as smallpox, which wiped out a huge chunk of the population before killing Huayna Capac and his chosen successor around 1525. That sparked a civil war as would-be emperors battled for power, with Atahualpa eventually outlasting his half-brother, Huascar, to grab the throne.

Enamored by the stories of Inca wealth, Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro lured Atahualpa to meeting for a supposed dinner in his honor and kidnapped the emperor in November 1532. Atahualpa was executed the following summer, and although the Spanish were far outnumbered by the locals, they easily sacked Cusco in late 1533 with their superior weaponry.

Attempting to keep the peace, the Spanish installed a young prince named Manco Inca Yupanqui as a puppet king, a move that backfired during a spirited rebellion in 1536. However, Manco Inca Yupanqui and his men were eventually forced to retreat to the jungle village of Vilcabamba, which remained the last stronghold of the empire until 1572.

As the only written accounts of the Inca were composed by outsiders, its mythology and culture passed to successive generations by trained storytellers. Traces of its existence were mainly found in the ruins of cities and temples, but in 1911 archaeologist Hiram Bingham discovered the intact 15th century mountaintop citadel of Machu Picchu, its magnificent stone structures reflecting the power and capabilities of this massive Pre-Colombian state.

The Inca Empire (Quechua: Tawantinsuyu, lit. “The Four Regions”[2]), also known as the Incan Empire and the Inka Empire, was the largest empire in pre-Columbian America,[3] and possibly the largest empire in the world in the early 16th century.[4] The administrative, political and military center of the empire was located in Cusco in modern-day Peru. The Inca civilization arose from the highlands of Peru sometime in the early 13th century. Its last stronghold was conquered by the Spanish in 1572.

From 1438 to 1533, the Incas used methods including conquest and peaceful assimilation, to incorporate a large portion of western South America, centered on the Andean mountain ranges. At its largest, the empire joined Peru, large parts of modern Ecuador, western and south central Bolivia, northwest Argentina, north and central Chile and a small part of southern Colombia into a state comparable to the historical empires of Eurasia. Its official language was Quechua. Many local forms of worship persisted in the empire, most of them concerning local sacred Huacas, but the Inca leadership encouraged the worship of Inti—their sun god—and imposed its sovereignty above other cults such as that of Pachamama.[5] The Incas considered their king, the Sapa Inca, to be the “son of the sun.”[6]

I drew this in Sept 1997 – like much of the world, I was sad for a long time after she died.  We are partially to blame for her death.  You must put yourself in someone else’s shoes, think about how you would feel and what your life would be like if someone “did to you” like you “do to them.”

4 Nov 2016 “Du Bist Nicht Allein” Hitler, Hiroshima, Nagasaki…..”a-ddressing old wounds properly” , Unicorns (Blade Runner), Fear (Blue October)

During last nights meditation by candle light, someone in particular came to my consciousness and it was Adolph Hitler. As I’ve mentioned here before, I have come to believe there is not such thing as villains, just misunderstandings…..bad programming. I will not belabor things but I simply said to the night this, “Du bist nicht allein” No one gets left behind in my idea of heaven. You may disagree with me about my reasoning, but then this morning I woke up very early and went out with candle and frankincense and myrrh incense and what came to me was Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I do not question the God of my understandings judgement is these things that come to me anymore.

Kyle said I should” leave it alone” but that is precisely why we have come to this shared juncture in our shared existence.

I will explain it to you like I explained it to him in terms he could relate to. Kyle is a welder and when you work with metal and fire there is a byproduct called “slag.” These are little metal fragments of hot molten metal that will fly off of the project you are working on and burn anything it lands on to include flesh. When Kyle was working for a company named Greenbriar (railroad) in Cleburne TX, he would come home every day covered in burns. It traumatized both of us very deeply emotionally and physically. I told Kyle what has been done to our planet and to us is much like what he….we experienced. There is a deep wound that unless treated with just more than band aids and ointment will never truly heal. More skin will grow on top, but the original trauma remains embedded in the “body.” The “body”….the “blood” never forgets. Such is my reasoning with what has happened to this very moment…..it is time to heal our original “traumas” completely so we can truly become the greatest planet in the Universe.

Hitler Reacts to the Atomic Bomb

In the depths of Hell, Hitler meets with his cabinet. He is just now getting the news of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. What you are about to see is his genuine reaction.

Unjustified Explosions with Hitler

Cabinet member: “The Americans dropped the bomb on Hiroshima first. A couple of days later, they dropped another one over Nagasaki. Just days after that, the Japanese surrendered, and the war was over.”

Hitler: “Surely the Allies would have won without it.”

Cabinet member: “Mein Fuhrer….the Allies…” “The Allies say it’s why they won; the Japanese wouldn’t have surrendered otherwise.”

Hitler: “I want a private word with Keidel, Yodel, Krebs and Bergdoff. DO THEY HAVE NO MORALS?! The killing of civilians for what? To weaken the Japanese military? They weren’t even military targets! What a double standard! The US would have condemned an A-bomb from another nation! Besides, the war was already over! The Japanese were ready to surrender!

Cabinet member: “Mein Fuhrer, they wanted unconditional surrender”

Hitler: “The emperor stayed, and they could have done a land invasion anyway!”

Cabinet member: “A land invasion would have killed millions of people!”

Hitler: “That’s false! Only tens of thousands would have died. 300 thousand people died in the bombing! Innocent people, who had nothing to do with the war. Not to mention the countless more who died of radiation! Only tens of thousands would have died in a land invasion and they were military people. They could have used conventional bombs, or they could have dropped a demonstration bomb. The bomb put the whole world at risk! It began an incredibly dangerous nuclear arms race with Stalin! Even some US Generals were against it. Eisenhower said, “Japan was already defeated” and the bomb “no longer mandatory to save American lives.” Admiral Nimitz, to the commander of the Pacific Fleet, stated publicly that Japan “already sued for peace.” The atomic bomb played no decisive part, from a purely military standpoint, in the defeat of Japan.” Those American dimwits didn’t listen to them though. Truman approved the use of the bomb without consulting anybody. Those generals, who actually know how war worked, could have advised him otherwise!

Woman in the hall: “It’s okay, propaganda caused many, not just you, to support it.”

Hitler: “Just two bombs caused all that destruction and death. They started the Cold War. And to think, it could have been avoided. It’s almost as bad as that crazy German who seized power and began World War II, the guy who wrote Mein Kampf. But nobody defends him anymore.”

Lost for Words

This morning I have the honor of sharing a special friend and his art with you, Mark from Endless Light and Love blog here on WordPress. Moved me to tears!!! He is doing these after he spends time in meditation – a variation on what I have adopted for myself with “active meditation” in using lose beads etc. Just amazing work and I had to share it with you!!!

Endless Light and Love

My Dear friends,

I have been lost for words of late, I just can’t seem to summon up the words to write a post, I have however been doing a lot of painting and drawing, usually following on directly after my meditations. During these meditations I have received strong visions, pictures so vivid that once I come out of meditation I start to draw or paint. So in light of my lack of written posts, I have attached a few of my most recent paintings for you viewing, amusement and or comments.

Blessings of love and light to you all

Namaste with Love

Always
