3 Sept 2016 – Earthquake birthday for Erin and A night spent in a musical dimension – Final Fantasy Distant Worlds with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Morton H. Meyerson

Hello to you this morning!  How are things in your dimensions today?  It’s about 8:35 am on Saturday morning as I write to you.  I have lots to share with you from our experience in the shared, musical dimension we traveled to last night in Dallas!

First I wanted to mention I started reading Listen Little Man by Dr. Wilhelm Reich yesterday and WOW, glad I bought it!  Second I wanted to wish my friend Erin Lindsey a Happy Birthday.  Her birthday present was apparently a 5.6 earthquake (she lives in Oklahoma).    Not the present I would want for her!  I can remember the 4.0 we had here last year and that totally freaked us out.  Hope everyone is ok!!!

5.6 earthquake rattles Oklahoma and Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A significant earthquake rattled parts of Oklahoma and Kansas at 7:02 a.m. Saturday. The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake was a 5.6 magnitude. That would tie the record-breaking earthquake of November 5, 2011 that was centered about 31 miles east of Oklahoma City.

According to the USGS, the quake’s epicenter was located 14km NW of Pawnee, Oklahoma. View Earthquake map.

So last night we finally got to “open” Kyle’s birthday present!  We went to the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds Concert at the Morton H. Meyerson in Dallas TX.  The Dallas Symphony Orchestra did a fantastic job!!!

We started getting ready around I want to say 4 pm because we were both so excited.  Kyle had to go through some wardrobe changes because the tuxedo pants he wanted to wear didn’t quite want to button for him.   After trying on a couple different pairs of pants, he settled in to some nice slacks that match a jacket that he’s almost outgrown also.  Yes, it appears we should have gone wardrobe shopping for him too.  We just don’t dress up like this very often!  Like EVER!  Turns out, after going to the concert, he probably would have been overdressed anyways.  There were a lot of folks dressed in t-shirts and jeans.  This concert was a draw for so many different walks of life – patrons, fans of video game music, fans of the symphony, and most of all fans of the Square Enix franchise Final Fantasy….namely the genius composer Nobuo Uematsu.  So it makes sense that there would the range of “attire” for those attending.  Kyle wanted us to dress up as this was special!

After all, the opening song, The Crystal Theme is our song!  The Crystal theme is the song we used to hear every time we logged into our PS2’s to play Final Fantasy XI (FFXI) together!  We credit FFXI as the game that brought us together and here we are some 13 years later and we’ve been married for 8 of those years!  It all began with a Hume White mage named Prinzessa and a Tarutaru Black Mage named Efess that fell in love in the Valkrum Dunes!

I just want to thank the everyone involved with the magical evening Kyle and I had last night and for all those that preceded it that brought together two people who are having a Happily Ever After because of you.  When you do what you love, if manifests whole worlds!  May they be large or small,  they are grounded in the love that created them.

Susan Callaway performing Answers, Kyle’s favorite, in 2011.  Her performance of this song and Dragon Song last night were phenomenal!  It was only the 2nd performance of Dragon Song it so we felt very honored!  Thank goodness we had tissue and I had the shoulder of Kyle’s jacket!

  1. I love the pictures, it looks like you had a wonderful evening together. I read about the earthquakes in many posts today, it’s unbelievable for us in europe when you have to deal with such disasters… hugs and crossed paws for all people&pets in the earthquake- and storm area…

    • I added a couple things to the end of the post in case your curious…songs we loved from the concert. I know, the fossil fuel hole digging is causing some consequences…Mother’s veins are collapsing.

  2. I can definitely see why Kyle loves that picture of you, Jackie. You look fabulous! So glad the concert, and evening, were magical. It comes through in the pictures of you two! 😉 xoxoM

    • Thank you so much! Last night Kyle and I were talking about how everyone should have the chance to do what we did last night once or more in a life time. Be able to go to a beautiful, safe, welcoming place and enjoy the company of “strangers” and beautiful music and live entertainment. I can see why people leave the entertainment complex and have to come back – the energy was so strong in the place even after the musicians stopped playing! There is so much positive and wonderful energy that a live venue generates – it’s a mutual collaboration 🙂
