Hello there! How are you?! Good I hope! Today was a really good day!
I wanted to share the brand new Coldplay song/video Head Full of Dreams I heard and bought today! The video opens with the Charlie Chapman speech from the Great Dictator I’ve shared with you before that gives me goosebumps every time I watch and listen to it! If that wasn’t enough, the band members are riding bikes like in Stranger Things and finally if you look at the stage it’s in the shape of the spaceship in my dream…red even! Coldplay is one of my musical sources of happiness every day! Their song Paradise was one of the songs that helped me get through my time at Mesa Springs! Very special group to me. I love that the Flower of Life is on their album cover too!
Speaking of a “head full of dreams” that’s me right?! Whether I’m asleep or awake some would say! This morning, about 6:20 am I wrote down two dreams I had last night. The most vivid one was dreaming about my neighbor and friend Michelle who passed away tragically in October 2014. I’ve talked about her several times here before. She and I have been together in several dreams both before and after her death. Well last night it was about celebrating a birthday for someone. There was a cookie cake with candles and LOTS of beer bottles to clean up afterwards and load after load of laundry too! Well she didn’t stay to finish the laundry lol. She and her friend, both very dressed up, had somewhere to go and left whomever I was in the dream to finish the laundry lol. How nice of her right?!
The second dream I only remember snippets of. I remember a very old woman sitting in a wheel chair and she was saying something about her story being very important to tell. There was something about her wearing a piece of her Grandmother’s leather glove as like a pendant around her neck. That’s all I remember.
Our Netflix disk tonight was Humans and we can say after watching the first two episodes that it’s definitely worth continuing to watch! It’s so well done! As a long time fan of Blade Runner and science fiction genre films and television, these types of movies and shows are right up Kyle and my alley! We were so sad Almost Human got cancelled so finding this show makes us very happy! Anyhew….we will be watching episode 3 tomorrow and then have the rest on the cue….looks like they only did one season of the show. I was pleased to see Colin Morgan and William Hurt again! Gemma Chan is absolutely amazing in her role as Anita, the family Synth (Robot) as is Emily Berrington as Niska….omg she nearly made me cry in the second episode. I won’t give away any spoilers and I encourage you to see it! The writers went to the places that Almost Human went and further. They are asking the idealogical questions we need to be asking ourselves about artificial intelligence we make in our own image….questions I’ve been posing for quite some time. What is the definition of life and when, if ever, is it ok to “retire” it? “Have you every retired a human by mistake Mr. Deckard?”……yeah.

Here is the prayer list for today, my therapists office helped me add a couple of names and shared with me a miracle of a story. A story of them living by their example as the beautiful, loving Christian women that they are. They had a difficult client who has a small boy. This client just was going off on the staff and it was getting to the point she wasn’t going to be welcome there anymore. Well what they told they did next brought me to happy tears. Instead of being angry and hurt about the way this woman was treating them, after she left the office, they all prayed for her and her son! Within a couple of hours after they did so, the woman called back, broken down in tears and apologized! They loved and prayed for her when she wasn’t loving herself! Just beautiful! This is one of the finest examples I can share to date of what I think we are supposed to be doing here!
I shared this example as one we could learn from:
I was recently told of an African tribe that does the most beautiful thing.

When someone does something hurtful and wrong, they take the person to the center of town, and the entire tribe comes and surrounds him. For two days they’ll tell the man every good thing he has ever done.
The tribe believes that every human being comes into the world as GOOD, each of us desiring safety, love, peace, happiness.
But sometimes in the pursuit of those things people make mistakes. The community sees misdeeds as a cry for help.
They band together for the sake of their fellow man to hold him up, to reconnect him with his true Nature, to remind him who he really is, until he fully remembers the truth from which he’d temporarily been disconnected: “I AM GOOD”
I don’t have a way to digitally sign this or print it out properly at the moment but mine is signed with my heart!
Finally I wanted to share I finished reading Ubik and zomg….seriously messed up! I’m so glad I read it. No spoilers, if your curious you must get your own copy and read it (BIG SMILE!) I started The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch also by PKD this afternoon and after reading this, I know I’m in for another wild ride!
