Almost forgot to share my hand written prayer list for yesterday, didn’t seem to fit into the first post for today. For those of you that have an interest in this and actually read the names, you will see I am starting to add places and specific people and issues. When we travel today for my appointment, I’m sure I will have many new names to share tomorrow! Arlington is a sort of shopping mecca and that’s where my doctor’s office is. Sad to see this little story yesterday….a man wearing a dress committed a robbery in Arlington. What was that about?! What this a variation of a hate crime? I wonder….
Arlington pharmacist shot by man wearing dress, police say
A pharmacist in Arlington was shot during an attempted robbery Wednesday morning and police say the suspect may have been a man dressed as a woman.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was taken to a hospital. He was in surgery at about 11 a.m., but his condition was unknown.
The suspect, originally believed by police to be a woman, entered the pharmacy and began demanding drugs. At some point, Bartolotta said, the suspect shot the pharmacist and fled in a car.
There were no witnesses to the shooting.
