Good morning! How are you?! How this finds you well and if not that you either have a great support system or are in the process of building one!
Yesterday afternoon presented me with an interesting train of thought. It was in part due to a Facebook page but also in part to just where my mind has been lately. I’ve really been thinking a lot about communication with the “unseen” as in alien life. The definition of what it means to be alive has changed for me these past few years and so my view of what an alien life form would look like or how I would talk to them has changed too. For many years now I have come to know and see that everything in my existence is energy. So I see everything as potentially alive which is not unlike say Buddhism for example….you see what you want to see….you believe what you want to believe. What I suspect is we have been talking to aliens for a very long time but being the ego-centric beings that we are, we have believed ourselves to be the master-minds. I propose that perhaps the mythological muses that have been credited for inspiration and imagination may be a form of alien communication. Where has the inspiration for our art, music, dance, theatre, science, industry come from? We have flashes of a thought and then an idea when looking at something, a dream that wakes us up in the night, an sudden compunction to get up at go somewhere or do something…to take risks. The realms I am seeing the communication come in flashes of light, colors, dreams, random experiences and messages from other people. The power of the God(s)….”aliens”….using us as messengers and receivers like short-wave radios perhaps. Definitely something to consider.
We have a limited experience in these human passenger vehicles….personal optical vehicles (POV’s)….can we even begin to presume what the true definition of life is? What the true definition of communication is? We are so young at our point in the perspective of a Universe, a God, a being, an alien looking back at us. I suspect we might even be looking back through time at ourselves right now. Just as we look out at space and see stars that have already existed and “died” but can still see them, why would it be any different for us? Our “now” is probably a “then” to the rest of the cosmos.
We are a mere recording on the retina of God….a memory. Do we have free will in a diorama you might find in a natural history museum? Hmmmmm.
The word diorama /ˌdaɪəˈrɑːmə/ can either refer to a 19th-century mobile theatre device, or, in modern usage, a three-dimensional full-size or miniature model, sometimes enclosed in a glass showcase for a museum. Dioramas are often built by hobbyists as part of related hobbies such as military vehicle modeling, miniature figure modeling, or aircraft modeling.

A couple great scenes from one of my favorite science fiction and actor Kevin Spacey films, K-Pax: (last nights drawing inspired by the film)
Kyle started his next Dune book, Dune The Battle of Corrin, and this opener is perfect for my message today:
The gravest error a thinking person can make is to believe that one particular version of history is absolute fact. History is recorded by a series of observers, none of whom is impartial. The facts are distorted by sheer passage of time and – especially in the case of the Butlerian Jihad – thousands of years of humanity’s dark ages, deliberate misrepresentations by religious sects, and the inevitable corruption that comes from the accumulation of careless mistakes. The wise person, then, views history as a set of lessons to be learned, choices and ramifications to be considered and discussed, and mistakes that SHOULD NEVER BE MADE AGAIN.

Remember my friend Cyndy I mentioned and shared that had sent me a surprise happy moment in a box? Well I reciprocated because I just had to….such a beautiful gesture. Well she got hers yesterday and sent me a couple of pictures. Isn’t she beautiful?!
Just found this when I was going to get the K-Pax movie clips….Benedict Cumberbatch on the importance of hand-written letters, fan letters (1 yr ago). I can only imagine how many fan letters he gets everyday and probably how sad it is for him not to be able to get to all of them. We are in a world of too much information aren’t we? What is the priority when we are bombarded at every turn with something we have to drop everything and pay attention to. No wonder we all seem to have cases of ADHD in varying degrees!
Sending you love and hugs through the wires wherever and whenever you are!!!
