Hello there! The first part of my post today is weird…dream stuff but I think you will see that even in it’s weirdness, it does connect to what is going on right now.
Anyhew, last nights dreams are to blame for the wierd. In one dream I was getting hair and makeup advice. There was a woman who had recently cut her hair really short and it was now burgundy colored. The woman didn’t look at all like my friend Laura who recently did this to her hair, but I’m guessing that’s who the woman was meant to represent. Then there was a man who was quite handsome and he was adjusting his hair and said, “and then I do the bunny thing” as he adjusted a long piece of his mostly short hair to the side of his face like a bunny ear. I found out Loreal is the brand I want to be using for more full coverage as a liquid make up foundation…hows that for specific?! Don’t know if it’s true but that’s what the dream people suggested lol. I use Physician’s Formula in my “real world” because it’s mostly organic and I can pronounce the ingredients in it. Guess I’ll have to take a look the next time I’m make up shopping at the Loreal stuff lol.
The other dream was something out of Penny Dreadful, Game of Thrones and bleedover from Kyle’s playing The Witcher on the PS4. The Game of Thrones part was from my seeing a blurp on MSN the other day with a picture of Peter Dinklage and something about “Winter is coming.” What was happening in the dream, the Penny Dreadful part, was I guess I was with some witches and there was an entity trying to get to me. When this entity showed up towards the end of the dream, one of the witches I was with said, “Aw shit, Winter has arrived.” Then I saw the creature that had a white face, dark eyes, big hair like Gary Oldman’s Dracula but it wasn’t a man, it was a woman who wore fancy clothes with embroidered beadwork. She was a woman scorned which is a theme that came out of where Kyle is at in his video game The Witcher! I haven’t even been paying attention to his gameplay on a conscious level anyways.
If you look at our world, even though the temperature is hotter than ever….what is happening to the temperature of our collective heart is very cold….like Winter. Not all of us are allowing our hearts to “freeze” and stay in the hope that what we are experiencing is a collective awakening. Are we waking up to hell freezing over? I wonder. I’ve always felt this life is heaven, hell and purgatory all in one…it’s what you make it to be. Too many people’s dimensions of viewing this life as hell (or thinking it should be) are bleeding over into the rest of our heavenly dimensions I think!
Kyle is to blame for the phrase “lesbian mosquitos.” After I told him about my dreams and where mosquitos were biting me, he Googled the phrase and only came up with a Facebook page called “Giant Lesbian Mosquito’s” which was a lot like the Chive for those familiar with those kinds of sites. It’s content is mostly innuendos and play on words and slightly perverted. Anyhew…..I’ve been getting mosquito bites in places that do not seem possible to get them LOL! These bites are through my clothes! I was playing in the sprinkler yesterday in my swim suite that has a skirt and STILL one of those kamikaze lesbian mosquito biotches managed to get to my womanlies and out without dying!! WTF?! LOL!!! It could be another bug besides a mosquito, I’m not sure but my body reacts violently to them. I’ve always reacted badly to mosquito bites. Very red, large welts, and itchy bites that don’t heal quickly. Thankfully I haven’t been feeling sick so no West Nile or anything…thank God for that. Just waking up in the middle of the night scratching!!!
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/winter-delayed-game-of-thrones-season-7_us_577e44cfe4b0344d514e03ba??te=TMZ – winter is coming but the show isn’t just yet lol! We have tried more than once to watch the series but just haven’t been able to stick with it. I haven’t written it off, just not time to watch it yet I guess.

No drawing last night, I was just too tired.
We went and got groceries this morning and I was listening to a couple of stockers in the bread section talking about the recent shootings in Dallas. Yesterday my friend and i talked and cried together about it…..this stuff just keeps happening. As soon as it seems the ship is righted in the stormy seas….another tidal wave….another tsunami. My perception of it all is this. It’s happening in a tighter and tighter circle. It was happening more sporadically but not any more. This is the test we as a species must pass before we can move on to the next grade. We are all members of the same family….we all bleed red….we are all born and we all are going to die. We are not a color, a nationality, a creed, a sexual orientation, a political party, a sports team or any other “label.” We are human beings sharing space with billions of other life forms and we have got to figure out how to solve our differences without violence. We have to stop turning on each other for reasons that we ALL suffer collectively.
“You are never out of school, life is school” – quote from my Dad
I think some people are just so fed up, angry, confused, exhausted and at the end of their chain that they are resorting to becoming terrorists, snipers, criminals….the most dangerous person in the world is one with nothing left to lose. If you take everything away from someone to include their dignity….they become irrational and unpredictable. It is what I think people fear about those deemed “mentally ill.” They look like everybody else, oftentimes will act like everybody else but given just the right push….BOOM! Get to the WHY of these things and you don’t have so much need of the WHAT’S. I keep saying that and each time this happens I hope that this will be the time we do what is hard. Instead of arming more people to kill each other in fits of passion, revenge, and rage, we need to get to the core of why these people are choosing to do these things. What are the economics, the family dynamics, the food and environmental issues at play when it comes to people becoming mentally ill or prone to crime and violence. What makes a seemingly “normal” person all the sudden explode into rage and violence – enough to kill others? It seems to me the “switch” that most people click on to repress actually doing what they are thinking is broken. Instead of just thinking about it and then acting on those feelings in some healthy outlet, they are picking up weapons and doing irrational things instead. I suspect our tainted food, water, air, beauty and cleaning products, the media/entertainment among so many other things we are exposed to every day have broken that switch in our recent generations of humans.

My prayers to the fallen…..
A newlywed and a Navy veteran of three tours in Iraq were among the five Dallas police officers killed in a sniper ambush on Thursday night. The victims were identified on Friday by officials, relatives and the media.
Seven other police officers and two civilians were wounded in the shooting at the end of a protest over this week’s killing of two black men by police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota. The Dallas shooter was a U.S. Army reservist who served in Afghanistan.
Following are profiles of the five officers who died.
Transit Police Officer Brent Thompson, 43, worked for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system since 2009 and was the first officer killed in the line of duty since the transit system formed a police department in 1989, DART said on its website.
“As you can imagine, our hearts are broken,” a DART statement said.
Thompson spent more than four years in Iraq, working for private U.S. military contractor DynCorp International as a police liaison officer who supervised Americans training and mentoring the Iraqi police force, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Thompson was married to a fellow DART officer, local television station WFAA reported, citing DART Chief James Spiller. USA Today reported that the couple married about two weeks ago and that Thompson was also a father and a grandfather from a previous marriage.
He attended the police academy at Navarro College in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and later taught classes there, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Thompson’s Facebook page reflected the life of a devoted father, with numerous photos of family posted to his account.
“My family,” Thompson wrote in a caption accompanying a photo on his Facebook page. “I’m so blessed.”
Thompson posted numerous pro-police memes on his Facebook timeline, some of which mocked the “Black Lives Matter” movement and accused President Barack Obama of not adequately supporting law enforcement.
PATRICK “PATRICIO” ZAMARRIPA
Navy veteran Patrick Zamarripa, 32, who served three tours in Iraq, was killed in the attack, his family told Reuters. He served in the military reserves as well as working as a Dallas policeman.
His uncle, Hector Zamarripa, said by telephone that Zamarripa was a proud Mexican-American who leaves behind a wife, their toddler-age daughter and a stepson. Although he did not speak much Spanish, he went by the name Patricio among his Spanish-speaking friends and relatives.
“He enjoyed the job, that was his calling,” his uncle said.
“Addicted to the thrill of this job. I own the night. I love my Country, Texas, Family, God, Friends, and Sports! Don’t Tread on Me! ‘Merica,” Patrick wrote on his Twitter profile.
A lover of Tejano music, he posted pictures of his daughter, selfies with other officers on duty and his love for the Dallas Cowboys football team and the Rangers baseball team.
Many of his posts were salutes to other officers. He wrote “Rest in Peace” in honor of two New York cops killed in 2014 and posted an image of an eagle with a caption: “Home of the Free because of the Brave.”
Michael Krol, a 40-year-old officer with the Dallas Police Department, was killed, according to a statement from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan, where Krol worked as a deputy in the jails from 2003 to 2007.
“We are saddened by the loss of the dedicated officers in Dallas – one of whom was a former member of this agency – and also the wounding of the other officers,” Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon said in the statement.
Michigan Governor Rick Snyder said in a statement that he had been notified that “one of the fallen officers in Dallas is a Michigan native who previously worked in law enforcement in Southeast Michigan.” He did not name Krol.
Senior Corporal Lorne Ahrens, a 14-year veteran with the Dallas police, was one of those killed, the Dallas Morning News reported. Reuters was not able to reach Ahrens’ family for confirmation.
Ahrens, a 48-year-old California native, was married to a Dallas police detective and had two children, ages 10 and 8, the newspaper reported.
Steve Stribley, a Dallas patrol officer, told the newspaper that Ahrens was “an incredible loving and devoted husband and father” and a “greatly respected veteran of the department.”
Michael Smith, 55, also died in the attack, KFDM television in southeastern Texas reported, citing his sister. Smith grew up in Port Arthur, Texas, and served in the military as an Army Ranger before joining the Dallas police in 1989, the television report said.
Reuters was not immediately able to confirm the report.
A GoFundMe page set up to help Smith’s family said he left behind a wife of 17 years and two daughters, ages 9 and 14.
He was known as a friendly family man and had been given a “Cops’ Cop” award from the Dallas Police Association, the Dallas Morning News reported.
